Aluminized Steel - 16 Gauge

Aluminized steel tubing is mild steel tube that has been hot-dip coated on both sides with an aluminum-silicone alloy. This process creates a strong bond between the steel tube and the aluminum alloy coating. Aluminized steel has excellent heat and corrosion resistance making it ideal for temperature applications lower than 800 °C (1,470 °F). It is commonly used for automotive exhaust components, exhaust tube, exhaust pipe, heat exchangers in residential furnaces, commercial rooftop HVAC units, automotive mufflers.
